Crossed Flags Lapel Badge – Fundraiser

Crossed flags lapel pin

This lapel pin shows the Scottish and Ugandan flags and is a wee bit bigger than a 1p coin. They’re being sold as a fundraiser for the 2012 trip to Uganda and are a great way to show your support for Tillydrone Vision and our friends in Uganda.

They’re £2.50 each and postage & packing is another 50p. You can buy up to four of our great lapel pins at no extra postage cost, and if you’re kind enough to buy four of them then we’ll pay the P&P. Continue reading

Tilly Travellers 2011

Fifteen intrepid Tillydrone Travellers visited Uganda at the end of March 2011. After the success of the Tilly Tractor and The Wall, the children and teachers at Bezallel Primary School gave us the welcome of a lifetime.

The thrill of the ‘walk of fame’ was unforgettable and a bit overwhelming.

Visit the ‘Tilly Tractor’ and ‘The Wall’ pages for more information.

Car Wash Fundraiser!

Our friends at Grampian Fire and Rescue Service held a Car Wash on Saturday 12th March and the proceeds will be shared between Tillydrone Vision and Operation Florian. Unfortunately the weather shut down and we had about six inches of snow!  Not the busiest car wash ever!

Grampian Firefighters and Support Staff in the snow!

The money raised by the hard work of Grampian’s Firefighters (and a wee bit of easy work by some of the support staff) will go straight into the Uganda fund and used to directly help Bezallel Primary School and Kaliro HIV+/AIDS community.

A big thank you to all who braved the elements and got your car washed and, of course, to all at Grampian Fire and Rescue Service.
